The number of surgery sessions at Noble's Hospital has fallen by more than 17 per cent in a year, new figures show.
Health Minister Claire Christian was asked a question for written reply about operating theatre activity by Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
She revealed last April there were a total of 152 half-day sessions, but this year there are due to be 126.
In her response, Miss Christian said although there were fewer sessions planned, there'd be more operations carried out.
