Fewer people are on the waiting list for the eye clinic, though the average wait time has stayed the same.
A total of 3,634 people were on the list for appointments in June last year, compared to 3,525 this year.
However, the average waiting time remains at 51 weeks.
During the same period a total of 4,715 appointments were cancelled - the most common reason being the clinician's unavailability, followed by cancellation by the patient.
