The 2019 Festival of Motorcycling is due to get underway this evening.
Today sees the first practice session take place on the TT course, with roads on it closing at 5pm and re-opening no later than 9pm.
Outside of race times, officials are reminding motorists the mountain road will be two-way for traffic throughout the fortnight.
