Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft says fertility treatment provided by the government is under review.
This week, she faced questions in the House of Keys from North Douglas MHK David Ashford about the system.
Mrs Beecroft said the current rules were set in 2010, and last year stayed within its budget after years of overspending.
And she added the Clinical Recommendations Committee is looking into current policy before funding for the service is reviewed.
