The Ben my Chree will leave later for Douglas today.
The vessel is covering the Heysham route for the Manxman while she undergoes repairs, maintenance and trials on Merseyside.
She's due to leave Lancashire at 2.15 this afternoon, but will now set off at 3.15pm.
Her Douglas to Heysham crossing at 7.45pm will also be delayed and set off at 8.30pm.
