The Steam Packet company says sailings tonight and tomorrow could be at risk of disruption.
The Manxman's 7.15pm crossing from Douglas to Heysham and 1.45am return trip are both under threat - a decision on those will be made by 5.15pm this evening.
Also at risk are Friday's 8am Douglas to Heysham trip and 1.45pm return, with a decision on those sailings expected by 6am tomorrow.
The Met Office says gale force winds gusting up to 60-mph are expected to sweep the Island overnight and tomorrow morning.
