Female injured in multi vehicle collision

A female was left injured and needing hospitalisation yesterday following a road traffic collision.

The multiple vehicle incident happened at the junction of York Road and Woodbourne Road in Douglas at approximately 10.45am.

The female in question needed to be cut from her vehicle, with the fire teams removing her car roof.

Once transferred to the ambulance the casualty was transported to hospital for further treatment.

No further information on the condition of the casualty is known at this time.
