Fears Anthrax Contaminated Heroin May Reach Isle of Man
A stark warning has gone out to the Manx public after it’s feared a batch of heroin contaminated with anthrax could have made its way to the Isle of Man.
It’s feared the highly dangerous batch of the already highly dangerous Class A drug may have made its way here from Scotland.
To date 17 heroin users in Scotland have found to have anthrax infection, eight of these people have since died while the remainder receive treatment.
Although it’s thought the majority of the Island’s drugs come from Merseyside it’s still feared a shipment could make its way down from Scotland.
