The Manx National Farmer’s Union has started a petition to get more local produce onto shelves.
The organisation highlights how only six percent of the foodstuffs purchased here are produced on island.
It’s calling on all UK supermarkets based here to provide home-grown products in their stores.
The campaign also wants to see the government here prioritise local food across all of its services.
