Family reunited with missing cat after 7 years

A cat missing for years has been reunited with his owners.

'Louis' went missing 7 years ago, leaving owner Elinore Grounds looking for him ever since.

Elinore recently saw a Facebook post about a cat hanging around a woman's home in Ballkillowey and stealing cat food - and instantly recognised him as her Louis.

After getting in touch, Elinore was able to catch him and bring him home - he's now 15 and was 8 when he disappeared.

Speaking to 3FM, she said "The strangest thing is, it's like he's never been gone - he's totally settled and is now coming and going freely.'
