Family members of patients at Cummal Mooar claim they are none the wiser following a meeting with officials yesterday.
It comes after the announcement that it's closure was to be put on pause for a undetermined amount of time.
Vicki Hewison is the lead petitioner against its closure, she is campaigning to have the facility remain open until patients can be transferred to the new facility.
Present at the meeting was the interim executive director of social care David Hamilton; Vicki said that although they reaffirmed the closure was on pause, they were also talking about redeploying staff, resulting in very mixed messages.
She spoke about a 91 year old patient who caught the mood of the meeting:
