The police say a number of roads across the Island have been closed as fallen trees make travel unsafe.
Officers say the main Foxdale Road has shut from The Hope Junction and Foxdale due to a fallen tree resting on powerlines- Snaefell Road in Douglas is also shut due to insecure Harris fencing.
Reports have also come in that a roof has come off and into the road on Peel Road in Douglas near Bobby Brown.
It’s after around 30 trees fell into roads early this morning with winds reaching up to 80mph in areas of the Island.
