Fairfield Junior School is being re-opened to accommodate pupils affected after a norovirus outbreak.
The Department of Education and Children is going to use the building whilst Ballacottier Primary School is being deep cleaned.
The school was closed on Friday so the work could be done over the weekend - however the headteacher sent pupils home this morning saying it hadn't been done satisfactorily:
The school day at Fairfield will run as normal between Tuesday and Thursday - however on Friday it will close at lunchtime.
