Chickens Facing Cull Thrown Possible Lifeline by Online Petition Signed by Over 400
A bizarre story has caught the attention of the Manx Public as a facebook group was hastily created in an effort to save a brood of feral chickens in St Johns from being culled.
The online group encourages people to sign a petition to save the chickens, who face death after complaints were lodged to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture about them being a traffic hazard.
A number of signs have gone up encouraging the owner to come forward before its too late.
There are in roughly 15 birds, so far over 400 people have signed the only petition to stop them from being killed.
