Glen Vine Resident Tells Us About Martin Crash

We've had a report from the scene of Guy Martin's crash at Ballagarrey near Glen Vine.

The Glen Vine resident who wishes to remain anonymous said it appeared that Martin took the corner too wide consequently losing control of his machine.

As his bike then hurtled toward the hay bales Guy came off his bike sliding into bushes finishing up in a Garden, the bales instantly caught fire upon impact.

The reports say it caused a significant blaze.

As we know Martin was then airlifted to Nobles Hospital with chest injuries, but the general feeling at the scene is that it could have been much worse had he made impact with the bales.
