Childcare providers can soon apply for extra funding for services for children with additional needs.
Applications open in August for this year's Childcare Inclusion Scheme, which aims to support working families and improve access to early education.
Subject to Tynwald approval, the first level of government funding offers up to £468 per year per eligible child.
And level two support would provide up to £8,568 a year for each individual - enabling day care providers to increase staffing or resources for complex needs children.
