'Extensive preparations' are being made for any cases of coronavirus on Island.
That's according to the government, in a statement released yesterday.
It says plans to deal with an outbreak have been discussed and necessary action will be taken.
Although, currently there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus on the Island, the risk level has risen from 'low' to ‘moderate’ in the UK.
Anybody with symptoms such as a cough or fever who's come back to the Island from mainland China, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau in the last fortnight should stay indoors.
However, it does say those returning shouldn't go to the Emergency Department at Noble's.
The UK Foreign Office has advised against ‘all but essential’ travel to mainland China.
