A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of making or possessing explosives.
Committal proceedings against David Ralph Banning, of Ballanard Road, took place at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
The 66-year-old allegedly committed the offence on or about September 29th last year.
He's also been accused of having an air pistol without a licence, and possessing cannabis, on or about October 5th.
The case will now be elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Bail was granted on the condition he employs 24-hour care assistants who must accompany him during the hours of a curfew and when he leaves his property.
