An "injured and exhausted" racing pigeon has been rescued on the Isle of Man.
In a post on social media Manx Wild Bird Aid said the bird fell asleep immediately when it was placed in an incubator.
The charity says racing pigeons are at risk of exhaustion and starvation while being raced but white birds are thought to be even more vulnerable as they stand-out to predators.
Rescuers said the bird is now alert and mobile but "still wobbly".
A spokesman added: "He's not out of the woods yet but we'll do all we can to help him back to full health".
