The Executive Director of the Office of Human Resources is leaving her role with immediate effect.
Clare Conie’s departure comes before a review of OHR that seeks to ensure the highest standards of professional practice are maintained.
Mrs Conie has worked for the government since 2003, holding a range of HR positions before becoming Executive Director in 2021.
She explained that her aim in stepping aside is to ensure the review can be undertaken objectively and with full transparency.
Interim Chief Secretary Caldric Randall says as part of the forthcoming review, the scope, role and future requirements of the role will be considered, and the post will be advertised in due course.
