Excalibur Almaz to showcase space stations to public this weekend

Company Chief Executive says Island\'s aerospace industry will continue to flourish

Isle of Man based Space company Excalibur Almaz Limited will be showcasing its two space stations to the Manx public this weekend.

It marks the first time they’ve opened the doors to the public since the huge space stations were painstakingly delivered to the Island earlier this year.

Currently one of the stations is a test unit, whereas the other is a bare frame, a space capsule that would serve as transport to and from space stations in orbit will also be on display at the hub on the Jurby Industrial Estate.

Excalibur Almaz are based on the Island, they’re aiming to become the world leaders in providing reliable affordable and routine access to space for exploration and tourism.

The public will be able to see the space stations between 10am and 5pm tomorrow at the Jurby Industrial Estate.
