The Island will join the rest of the UK next Monday in respecting a two minute silence in remembrance of all those who died in the service of their country.
Motorists have been asked to stop their engines during the two minute period which will start at 11am.
There will also be a service of remembrance at the Royal Chapel of St John’s at 3pm on Sunday.
