Today marks World Mental Health Day.
An ‘Island first’ is being held to mark the occasion - an event at the Library on Westmoreland Road from 3pm this afternoon.
The get-together is being staged to highlight what support is available locally for those tackling or facing mental health issues.
Last month, a charitable Island project visited local schools to speak to pupils about mental health.
