The Department of Infrastructure says it needs to close the Mountain road each night for a week next month.
The route will shut from Ramsey to Creg ny Baa between 6.30pm and 10pm each evening from Monday, August 5 until Friday, August 9.
On Facebook, the DOI says it needs to cut verges and repair a wall on one of the bridges on the Mountain Mile that was damaged in a crash.
If the weather is bad and work is delayed, the road will shut the following week.
