The Department of Education and Children says a Christian group founded in America visited the Island's schools around 250 times last year.
A freedom of information request asked how often the Child Evangelism Fellowship went into Island schools to talk to children.
The department says the frequency varies between schools - 12 didn't have a single visit last year, while Willaston school revealed it's visited weekly.
In its response, the department says teachers would step in immediately if the group started evangelising.
