On Facebook, officers say the 5pm kickoff may mean people are heading out to see it straight from work and having a few drinks with friends.
But they're asking how you're planning getting home - warning a drink-drive conviction is a huge own goal.
The Alcohol Licensing and Crime Prevention Unit says leave the car at work and use public transport, walk or grab a lift home later.
