Changes to the Employed Person's Allowance could be approved in this month's Tynwald sitting.
Members will be asked to approve the introduction of new rules surrounding the minimum number of hours some couples with children will have to work to qualify for the support.
The changes were agreed in 2019 but have been postponed three times due to the effects of the pandemic.
If approved, the new requirements will be in place from October 18 2022.
