The government is inviting young people to connect with and write about nature as part of an annual competition.
Young Nature Writer 2023 is open to those aged 21 and under, and runs until the end of the school summer holidays.
Those entering are asked to write up to 500 words about Manx nature or wildlife, such as their favourite place, a specific experience, or how being in nature makes them feel.
The winner will receive a year's family membership of the Manx Wildlife Trust and a handmade wooden trophy, and have their entry printed.
