A civil engineering expert has been announced as the chair of the Major Projects Board.
Barry O'Driscoll, who lives in Gloucestershire, will lead the group in helping the Council of Ministers deliver big capital projects.
The Board will give them more oversight and control on projects costing more than £3m, or those which are high-profile or high-risk.
Mr O'Driscoll has over 25 years' experience of civil engineering design and construction.
