The Manx Utilities Authority said it is expecting adequate gas supplies this winter.
That's the statement from Chairman of the Manx Utilities Authority, MHK Tim Johnston.
He was responding to a question in Tynwald this week prompted by a warning from an industry regulator in the UK.
Ofgem said the UK is facing "significant risks" of gas shortages due to Russia's war with Ukraine.
But Manx Utilites said it is confident there is "sufficient resiliance in its supply chain to maintain relaible energy supplies".
The UK government has also ruled out rationing saying Britain is in a good position with little direct import of gas from Russia.
