End of UK tax treaty could affect Manx economy

Changes made to the UK budget will affect the Isle of Man.

Last month without warning Chancellor Osborne announced the end of UK's income tax treaty with the Isle of Man - mainly affecting property deals.

Now that there is a distinct lack of tax incentive for UK based companies to use Island Corporate Service Providers there is a worry that business will be lost.

KPMG's Tax Director Greg Jones explains the potential problems the Manx economy might face:
