The government says employers are taking advantage of the Island's 'Cycle to work' tax exemption.
The measure, aiming to keep staff healthy was introduced by the Treasury in April 2017 by Minister Alf Cannan.
It was designed to improve general fitness of Island residents and enable businesses to buy a bike on behalf on an individual.
More than 400 transactions have taken place so far, with all sales having to be completed through local bike shops as part of the measure.
