Emergency shelter is now available for those affected by severe flooding.
Locals have rallied round to offer accommodation for residents in Laxey, after torrential rain both overnight and this morning.
A group of volunteers have created a Facebook group 'Manx Weather Watch 2019' which has been set up to help provide emergency care.
Food, clothes, blankets and free accommodation are being arranged.
There is also a rest centre set up in the Christ Church behind the CO-OP in Laxey.
An Amber alert for heavy rain from the Met Office remains in place until 4pm today.
