Emergency services free trapped horse

The owner had sustained a head injury whilst trying to release the animal, which had become 'spooked' and tried to escape via a small door intended for human use only.

 

This resulted in the horse becoming stuck half in and half out of the transport box.

 

After consultation with a vet the horse was sedated and the doorway was made big enough to allow the horse to be easily released.

 

The owner was taken to Noble's Hospital -  the horse was only found to have sustained minor cuts and abrasions to its legs.
