Fire crews in the south of the Island were called to a fire near a Port St Mary Hotel earlier this week.
Rushen and Castletown & Malew Stations attended the incident by the Albert Hotel and were at the scene for around 50 minutes.
It was identified to be an unattended fire which had spread to a nearby pile of wood.
Anyone planning on having an outside fire is asked to inform the Emergency Services Joint Control Room on 697327, be mindful of what's nearby and never leave it unattended.
