The Island's Helicopter Emergency Medical Service sprang into action three times this weekend.
The service was introduced in March for a six-month trial, but hadn't yet been used.
On Sunday, the Great North Air Ambulance Service picked up three patients for treatment - all sustained injured in separate incidents.
One patient had suffered burns, while another was injured in a motorcycling accident.
