An email sent to the wrong address was to blame for the delay in benefits payments last week.
Treasury Minister Alf Cannan spoke out about the issue at today's Tynwald sitting following an emergency question by Speaker of the House of Keys - Juan Watterson.
He said the 13 people who didn't receive payments were given £100 of emergency support.
The Treasury Minister also said work was being taken to ensure something similar won't happen again.
