It’s been revealed this morning that one of the most iconic musicians of the last 50 years will be playing on the Isle of Man next Summer.
Elton John will bring his solo show to the Isle of Man as part of his major tour for new album The Union, which critics are dubbing his best work in 30 years.
He’ll be playing at the Valhalla Tent on the 16th June, which will already be based in Nobles Park for the Bay Festival.
Elton John is arguably the biggest star in recent memory to play on the Island with worldwide album sales in excess of 250 million.
Speaking about the gig The Rocketman said 'it’s the first time I will have ever have played on the Island and I'm greatly looking forward to it'.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am tomorrow morning.
He is playing at Nobles park, in a tent, with the same name as one of his tracks!
Concert promoter Ben Martin said Elton wants to bring his music to the fans, and play in locations that otherwise wouldn't put on such a huge artist. (audio above)
