An unsuccessful candidate from last year's General Election is setting up a political party called The Manx Rebel Alliance.
James Hampton stood in Rushen - he polled just over 1,000 votes but failed to win a seat.
Now he says he'd like to create a political party to contest the next election, centred around the idea of direct democracy.
