The Department of Health and Social Care says eight of its managers have stepped down under a resignation scheme since it was opened up last year.
The Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme for DHSC staff opened in December, and sees managers agree to leave in return for up to a year's salary.
A freedom of information request to the department asked how many people had taken up the offer.
In response, the department said it had agreed for eight staff to leave.
