An Island egaming company has had its licence taken off it after one of its directors was jailed for trying to buy personal information.
Metagrow Solutions Limited was licensed here last March, but its Malaysian director pleaded guilty to trying to buy the data from a Chinese cybercrime group.
The Island's Gaming Supervision Commission says it suspended the company's licence in November.
However, it now says it's cancelled the licence because it's no longer satisfied the company is under the control of a person of integrity.
