The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says one in six fire service callouts to schools were because pupils had set off fire alarms.
A Freedom of Information request asked for more details about 49 emergency callouts to schools for false alarms over the last three years.
The department revealed St Ninian's school on Ballaquayle Road saw four incidents where pupils set off alarms, with the Lower School on Heywood Avenue seeing three.
Ballakermeen and Castle Rushen each had one such incident - and Peel Clothworker's School saw its alarms triggered by an intruder.
