Duo accused of assault appear in court

Two women have appeared in court after being accused of jointly assaulting another woman.

29-year-old Sophie Callister and 26-year-old Amy Thompson allegedly carried out the assault on December 20th last year in Ramsey.

The women are from Oak Avenue in Pulrose and Clenagh Road in Sulby respectively - Miss Callister has also been charged with two offences of failing to conform to traffic directions.

A two week adjournment was requested - both women have been bailed until their next appearance on February 14th.
