Drug Trafficking Unit Make Significant Arrests
The Drug Trafficking Unit made some more significant arrests over the weekend.
Two males from the Merseyside area aged 20 and 21 have been charged with a total of 14 offences relating to the importation and supply of class A controlled drugs, aswell as money laundering offences.
What is believed to be heroin was recovered, with a street value of £5,000.
The substances were recovered from a property on the Douglas promenade.
Both males will appear in court today.
A spokesperson for the Drug Trafficking Unit has said 'the bust is a major success for intelligence led policing on the Island, aswell as taking drugs out of the hands of dealers and off the streets'.
