A Douglas man who claimed he crashed his car because he sneezed will be sentenced next month.
34-year-old Stephen Michael Glover, of Anagh Coar Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.
Police were called to Falkland Drive in Onchan on October 28th last year after a crash between Glover's Mazda and a parked Ford Fiesta.
Officers noted he was struggling to focus and suspected he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
A roadside breath test was clear so Glover was taken to Noble's Hospital where blood tests showed he had cocaine and diazepam in his system.
He admitted using the drugs in the days before the crash but said he thought he was OK to drive and it was the sneeze which caused the collision.
During the hearing Glover pleaded guilty to driving whilst unfit and having no driving licence or insurance - he also admitted his vehicle was in a dangerous condition.
A second offence of having no insurance, from February 4th this year, was also admitted.
Social enquiry reports have been requested before he's sentenced on May 18th - he's been bailed until that date.
