There has been a 'significant drop' in warrants issued under the Interception of Communications Acts since 2014.
That's according to the 2020 report by Interception of Communications Commissioner Susie Alegre.
The report says the drop could be down to developments in technology, meaning interception isn't the most effective way of getting information anymore.
Tynwald is set to discuss the report in tomorrow's sitting.
