Drone ban in place over Tynwald Day in St Johns

Flying a drone over Tynwald Day celebrations could mean you spend the next five years in jail.

That's the warning as the Island's National Day gets underway later.

Civil aviation regulations means all aircraft, manned and unmanned, must not fly within two nautical miles of St Johns all day.

Breaking the law carries a maximum fine of £10,000 or five years in prison.
