There'll be no more practicing three-point turns or reversing around corners at the Vehicle Test Centre.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's banning practicing driving manoeuvres from 9am to 5.30pm each weekday.
On Facebook, the department says learner drivers are disrupting operations and potentially posing a risk to others in the facility's staff and customer car parks.
It says it's seen a rise in traffic at the site and says the decision was made in the interests of safety and efficiency.
