Motorists in Glen Vine are being asked to take more care around the area of Marown Primary School.
Police say they have had numerous complaints about dangerous and inconsiderate driving.
The reports centre around the school's drop off and collection points - which are said to be inadequate.
The school, local MHK, commissioners and police are now trying to work together to resolve the situation.
While this happens drivers have been asked to be tolerant of others and allow extra time for their journey at busy times.
