The driver of a vehicle that went over the edge at Scarlett in Castletown is home and 'recovering'.
That's according to charity Beach Buddies Isle of Man, which took to social media yesterday following the incident.
The woman involved was taking part in one of the charity's voluntary beach cleans.
Emergency Services - including Coastguards, paramedics, firefighters and police were in attendance.
Founder of Beach Buddies Bill Dale has praised the Island's 'community and compassion' after both crews and volunteers came together, and is 'relieved' the driver is okay.
